
A fire has broken out on the top floor of the Park Hospital in Hyderabad.
Forty-two patients have been moved out of the hospital till now. Although many people are still feared trapped.
The fire engines have arrived and the rescue operations are on.
A short circuit is being considered as a possible reason for the fire.
30 injured in Hyderabad hospital fire
HYDERABAD: At least 30 people were injured after fire broke out in a private hospital here on Tuesday, police said.
A police officer said some more people could be trapped and efforts were on to rescue them.
The fire broke out at the Park Super Speciality Hospital in the busy Somajiguda area.
The injured include patients, nurses and other hospital staff. The police officer said eight patients were rescued from the Intensive Care Unit.
The injured were shifted to Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) and Yashoda Hospital. The condition of four of the injured is stated to be critical.
The cause of the fire is still not known.
