Call it the ‘Kaliyugam’ or the simple influence that is leading to sexual perversion but then, there has been a visible rise in the number of incidents that are bringing shame to the society. The lines of ethics and morals have been erased and especially in terms of relations between man and woman.
The latest incident is about a principal of a college in the Guntur district who was reportedly abusing a student. It is also heard that he was threatening to kill her if she made noise and this went on for a while till she could no longer take it.
She went and complained to the parents and in no time, the principal was brought out and was beaten to pulp. While the nitti-gritties of the incident are unknown, the very fact that this has happened is a shame. And with the electronic media glorifying it in a big way, the society has no choice but to hang their heads low in humiliation.
