Indian Independence Day Celebrations in Bay Area by American Club and Indian Community

The Oaks Club American Property management has about 720 Apartments in Sunnyvale, CA, All most 90% of their residents are from INDIA, they celebrates Indian Independence day every year, and this year Congress fans coordinated the event with result of over crowded the place.

The venue was filled with many patriotic Indian men and women with flags and tri-colored Balloons. Most of those wear traditional Indian dresses, it is very occasional that these many Indian people with traditional wear, Said several from the crowd.

The program was kicked off by National song of India Vandemataram sung by a group of singers. Various cultural events were performed by residents.

Bharatanatyam composed by Usha narayanan and Hindi songs by Anand was highlights of the event. Choreography for all the performances was composed by usha, rashmi and sangeeta.

David Pepper, Director ,Oaks Club was felicitated by Residents lead by Suresh Vuyyuru along with other members Gopi Panuchmarthy, Surya, Rajendra, Anjaiah, Sampath, Subba rao and lakshmi. Residents felt that it was a very good opportunity in felicitating David who respects and values the sentiments of the Fair Oaks residents and took the initiative in organizing the event and making it a grand success.

David Pepper thanked all the residents and his staff who helps him in managing the Oaks Club in Organized manner in day to day affairs.

The event was closed with Janaganamana and  Declicious food served by Sannidhi Restaurant, Pleasanton,CA.
