An assistant sub-inspector was caught red-handed while “enjoying” with a prostitute at police quarters Nagireddypet in Nizamabad on Sunday.
A constable saw the ASI Salmon Raju in a compromising position with a woman at the quarters and questioned his attitude. He immediately passed the information to the media. In the meantime, the ASI entered into an altercation with the constable, which led to the locals gathering at the place. They staged a dharna in front of the police station and demaded the sacking of the Salmon Raju.
The local Inspector registered a case against the ASI and is investigating into the matter.
