Dr. M.S. Reddy Receives Another Prestigious Patent

Dr. M.S. Reddy has been granted a groundbreaking United States patent (US Patent #12,268,717 B1) on April 8, 2025. Earlier, Dr. Reddy was awarded US Patent #6,080,401 in the year 2000 for significantly enhancing the therapeutic value of allopathic, ayurvedic, and other drugs by infusing them with live probiotics.

Using this discovery, over 50 drugs were developed to treat conditions such as Alzheimer’s, obesity, arthritis, hemorrhoids, and digestive complications, all without causing side effects. It is widely known that allopathic medicines often induce severe side effects, which can sometimes be worse than the original diseases. Dr. Reddy’s invention (US Patent #6,080,401) eliminated these side effects for several drugs.

Globally, more than 10 million people die annually from cancer. During cancer treatment, the host's gastrointestinal flora, including probiotics, are often destroyed, leading to a recurrence of the disease. Although physicians and oncologists are aware of this, many are hesitant to use probiotic supplements during cancer treatment due to the concern that probiotics entering the bloodstream may cause septicemia. Unfortunately, without a proper balance of gastrointestinal flora, the human immune system cannot be effectively activated, making a permanent cure for cancer nearly impossible.

Dr. M.S. Reddy introduced a revolutionary solution by using paraprobiotics (killed probiotics) along with their immunomodulatory byproducts (growth end products) as an alternative to live probiotics. This approach addresses dysbiosis (imbalances in intestinal microbial populations), enhancing the therapeutic efficacy of cancer and other drugs. This invention represents a significant breakthrough in pharmaceutical and clinical medicine, earning Dr. Reddy the United States patent.

To provide context, the human intestinal tract harbors approximately 100 trillion bacteria, of which around 20 trillion are probiotics. Human bodies contain ten times more bacterial cells than human cells. If all bacteria in the intestinal tract were eliminated, survival would become impossible.

Disturbances in microbial populations (dysbiosis) have been linked to several immunological diseases, including allergies, autoimmune disorders, and infections caused by pathogenic viruses (including SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, which caused the COVID-19 pandemic), bacteria, yeast, and molds.

Dr. M.S. Reddy’s invention, as outlined in US Patent #12,268,717 B1, has fundamentally changed the landscape of medical treatment by improving the efficiency of drugs, even at the smallest doses, thereby eliminating common drug side effects. Dr. Reddy is extending this patent worldwide through PCT, Switzerland.
