Dr.Manthena Satyanaranayana Raju is known as a renowned speaker on Health domain in electronic media. He delivered 760 episodes in MAATV and wrote 13 Telugu books. He has been connected to millions of Telugu known people across the world. Till now, there is neither a colored book nor a non-Telugu language book existing in a comprehensive manner.

Two NRIs’ who got benefitted out of his preaching got an idea to write an English book for the benefit of non-Telugu speakers. They are Thirupathi Reddy, Dubai and Sudhakar Ghantasala, USA.

They wrote two concise books that are the consolidation of Dr.Manthena teachings duly extracting the essence from his teachings and books.  The books are printed and handed over to Dr.Manthena Charitable Trust on 23rd March 2012. The entire project has been sponsored by the NLSFoundation USA, team. 

NLSFoundation (www.nlsfoundation.org) organization is started by Soliupuram Raghava Reddy and Raj Gilla in USA and has good team working in promoting NLS.

The books release function is also scheduled on 8th of this month in Bangalore followed by a release in USA on 22nd of this month.  It is very interesting to note that they all became friends through a social network site and worked as a team in bringing out these two books titled as “ 7 Essentials for good health” and “Dr. Manthena’s Kitchen -- MOSS Free Recipes” books. These books are currently available in Hyderabad and Bangalore in selected stores only. NLS Foundation is working to sell the books through online very soon.

In the first book titled “7 Essentials for Good Health”, authors tried to explain very briefly what Natural lifestyle is, how it was helpful, who all followed it and how they got benefitted out of this. 

The book clearly explains difference between Animals, birds and humans. They quoted with beautiful illustrations, how the animals and birds are living without any health problems during their full lifespan. 

The book also covered Modern Lifestyle and how we are accustomed to harmful food.  It also covered how we are negligent in following the Nature’s principles and Body’s essentials. 

The advantage and the way of following the body essentials are elaborately explained in chapter wise approach. Each chapter is explained with color pictures, illustrations and star notes in order to make the reader understand to the minute detail possible.

As said “A picture talks more than 1000 words”, these books consist of so many funny and meaningful illustrations to understand easily. You may not know the secret of living healthy in natural way unless you read the facts mentioned.  E.g how many of us are aware of how to take water, when to take water and how much to take? Whether we can take during food or after the food or prior to the food?  If so, how can we practice this for good health? This book covered several pictures, illustrations, tables, diet plans for various age group people and clearly explained advantages and disadvantages of the current junk food that we are consuming. The book also covers on the details of physical activity, its benefits and clearly, concisely explains Yoga asanas in step-by-step manner. Authors have not left a single area uncovered that is required for the body. They also very clearly explained about the techniques of excretion, number of times to excrete and the causes of constipation. The next topic that is very important to all of us, which is Rest & Relaxation is also covered giving the details on how to give rest not only to the body but also to the internal organs along with simple to use step-by-step relaxation techniques. In addition to all of these, this book also covers the frequently asked questions on following Natural Lifestyle and following the principles of Nature. Added to this is the beneficiaries and followers details in terms of spotlights, who are willing to help for any type of queries for the beginners.  They explained the entire Dr.Manthena’s practical teachings into 10 daily steps method.  The highlight of this book is color printed and presented perfectly for the benefit of health lovers. It is worth to buy and practice the Natural lifestyle with this book by sitting amidst of your home.

The second book “MOSS Free Recipes” is covered on the food domain. It is very interesting to know how we can practice the Masala, Oil, Salt and Sugar (MOSS) Free diet. Doctors tell us to reduce or stop taking MOSS, but they do not give us any alternate to these, which are harmless tastes. 

Based on doctors’ advice we strictly follow without MOSS food and forego the taste. But this book not only advices to stop taking MOSS food but also explains in detail on the alternatives. These recipes covered in this book gives similar taste to MOSS food. This book starts with disadvantages of MOSS food, tastes that are harmful and gives those tastes that are harmless and healthy.

The book also covers on how to eat the MOSSfree food for starters. In this book authors clearly explained the Dr.Manthena’s practically tested best alternatives in place of Masala, Oil, Salt and Sugar. They covered wide variety of recipes such as Curries, Snacks& Sweets, Fries, Dals, Chutneys, variety of Rice items and so on. The interesting part of this book they covered all mouthwatering recipes without using harmful tastes Masala, Oil, Salt and Sugar and for every recipe they tried to give additional notes as tip.
