Hyderabad has always been known for its food specialties and the Biryani and Kababs have been the hottest. But during one season, all these are sidelined and everyone goes only for one dish. It is the Ramzan time and the dish is Haleem. This is ideally boiled mutton paste topped with various ingredients.
Now, it is heard that the Haleem mania is spreading to other parts of Andhra Pradesh. The credit for that goes to the famous Pista House. Reports say posters are coming in small towns and right from Vijayawada to Guntur to the southern side of Andhra Pradesh lot of stalls are coming up.
It is not only the Muslims but even the Hindus who are binging on this dish. The taste has picked up among these areas and last two years the demand was just growing but this year it became too much. So now, Haleem is no longer a Hyderabadi special it is an Andhra Pradesh special.
