With each passing day, the ladies in India are emerging with only one goal- to be on par with men in all fields. While that is working fine in few areas, there are few areas which is causing a shock to many. One such place is drinking. Yes, lately there has been a significant increase in the number of women taking to drinking.
And here is an interesting report. It is heard that last year during the New Year celebrations, a total of Rs 25 crores revenue was recorded only on single day. This year it is heard that Rs 30 crores has been collected. This is only the statistics for Hyderabad.
Two reasons are being attributed to this increase. Firstly, they say it is the hike in liquor rates which has caused this increase and secondly, the lady boozers also increased by consuming good quantity of Breezers and Gins. At this rate, the day is not far when ladies will overtake men in this field too.
