
They raised $10,010.10 (TenThousand+) and all proceeds will benefit BAAL DAN, a non-profit organization that helps Orphan children in need. The donations will be benefiting Nutan’s Orphanage in Hyderabad, INDIA.
The day was filled with cultural competitions, informational sessions about Bharat Youth Group and Baal Dan. The evening program was the highlight of the show with popular schools in NJ, NY, PA performing award winning dance numbers. J.Suryanarayana Murthy, a renowned artist at Kalakshetra mesmerized the audience with his performance.
BYG also hosted their first Beauty Pageant Coordinated by Jaisheela Setty & Anuja Gedala. Pooja Eppanapally was crowned as Miss. FUSION 2010.
Assembly Man of NJ State Sri.Upendra Chivukula was the Chief Guest for the evening. He applauded BYG for raising large amount of money and giving back to their mother land at such a young age.
President of BYG Jaisheela Setty said, “The change must start with the youth… nothing can stop a united force with one dream…the dream to see change”.
