Yet another calendar of disruptions has just been released by Telangana protagonists.
The People of Telangana have to brace up for a prolonged period of shutdowns, rod and rail blockades.
After holding a meeting with key leaders, the Telangana Joint Action Committee unveiled an action plan of protests for the next ten days.
The residents of Hyderabad will have a harrowing time on September 30 as TJAC has given a bandh call for that day. And for three days from October 9, there will be “rail roko” across Telangana region, the TJAC Chairman Prof Kodandaram announced.
Beginning Tuesday, there is going to be rallies, protests and continuous disruptions to public life.
Across Telangana districts, the RTC employees will take out rallies on Tuesday and all others will join these rallies. On September 28, massive “rasta rook” will be organized at over 100 places in the region. The next day, the Telangana activists will lay siege to the houses of elected representatives across the region.
On September 30, a total bandh will be observed in Hyderabad.
On October 2, the commuters will not pay toll tax at the toll gates. A major disruption is like soon after Dussera festival as the agitators have given a call for rail blockade for three days from October 9.
