The sensational report carried by ABN Andhra Jyothy channel and Andhra Jyothy daily making wild allegations against two ministers in the Kiran Kumar Reddy cabinet in the Satya Sai Baba health episode created ripples in the state political circles.
The report says the two ministers had received huge kickbacks from the trust members to remain silent on the murky affairs in Prashanti Nilayam. So did an IPS officer who has received Rs 200 crore to keep the entire episode under wraps.
Some trust members have completely made Sai Baba a puppet in their hands and taken over the multi-billion dollars spiritual empire of the Baba. Now that Baba is on the death bed, they are trying to hush up the whole scandal and ensuring that Baba does not recover and reveal the facts. That is the reason why there have been contradictory reports over his health condition.
Now, the question is who these two ministers are. If one were go by the circumstantial evidence the accusing finger points at Industries Minister J Geetha Reddy and Agriculture Minister N Raghuveera Reddy.
They were the only two ministers who had visited Prashanti Nilayam frequently in the recent past. Though another minister S Sailajanath also visited Puttaparthi, he was not there for a long time.
After making a lot of hue and cry over Baba’s health, the two ministers remain tight lipped after that.
But there is no evidence to suspect these two ministers. It could just be a kite-flying story by Andhra Jyothy. It takes some more time for the skeletons to tumble out of Prashanti Nilayam’s cup board!
