American Telugu Association (ATA) Board Meeting, held in Atlanta on March 17th, 2012, was attended by all the committees for Atlanta ATA Convention 2012 and presided by ATA Trusties and President Dr. Rajender Jinna. ATA 2012 Conference Convener Karunakar Asireddy welcomed the gathering.
The event was organized by the ATA local coordinators Vikram Sudini and Prasheel Gukanti, in coordination with Dr.Jaganmohan Rao, Convention Coordinator.
Karunakar informed the gathering that ATA fundraising committee raised close to a million dollars in some cities as of now and will continue fundraise in remaining areas.
The committees discussed their progress and laid down the plans for the next few months, culminating in the celebration of Telugu spirit at the 2012 ATA Conference to be held from July 6th to 8th, 2012 at Georgia World Congress Center. The ATA Trusties appreciated the hard work of all the ATA Conference Committee members and advised on finer points. Over all, the whole team felt that they are on the right path and much more hard work was needed to make the Convention successful. Bindu and Murali Reddy (Chair, Business Committee) hosted a grand dinner for all.
Karunakar expressed his gratitude to each and everyone working for the Convention success.
