One of the famous sayings in Telugu goes ‘Aritaku Meedha Mullu Padda Mullu Meedha Aritaku Padda Aritaku Ke Nashtam’. Perhaps the wise men who coined this adage may not have realized that its definition is going to change in the Kaliyugam. Usually this adage is used in context wherein ladies are referred as Aritaku and men as Mullu. This was in terms of a woman’s position in society and the ultimate result she gets if she tries to mess with a man.
But now, scene is totally reverse. Man has become the Aritaku while Mullu is taken by the Ladies. There are many examples to prove this theory. Take the case of Clinton-Monica Lewinsky, the former US President got messed up at White House and faced big trouble. Here, we have the veteran N D Tiwari who became a victim of ladies sting operation and all his earned name and career went kaput. Then came Nityananda. More than the actress Ranjitha who took part in the sexual romp, Nithyananda was hammered.
The latest I see is Ambati Rambabu with a girl by name Manju, ABN Radhakrishna whose image got spoiled by the allegations of Ambati Rambabu. S P Charan, son of S P Balu facing rape charges and Madhur Bhandarkar who is beginning to see torture. In all this, though the involvement is equal from both sides, the brunt has been borne by the men. As it is, the Indian law is giving protection to Mullu and not the Aaku.
And ladies are taking that as the advantage and making the most of it. Now, they are using Facebook for luring men and blackmailing them. On one hand, men are slogging it out to protect themselves while ladies are going all out to reveal their wild side. Sad but true…
