In opulent localities, the people have climbed the terraces of villas and waved the torch light from their mobiles.
Almost all the apartment complexes around the nation were lit up with diyas and candles. Surprisingly even the Old City in Hyderabad has seen reasonable response for this task.
This shows the unmatchable following and respect that Modi is commanding from majority of his citizens.
But what is not expected is that people have celebrated Diwali in many places when asked only to lit a lamp.
Many places were resounded with crackers and colorful sky rockets resembling a Diwali night. The activity lasted for more than 30 minutes.
On a whole, the celebration of unity to fight against Coronavirus with claps on the other day and the lights tonight has been highly successful.
