As for the water, there is no borewell which has been dug. The management has decided to get water by paying the municipal authorities and use minimal source from Ground. However, they have arranged for water harvesting pits and recycling technology wherein the rain water can be stored and eventually converted into mineral water.
This is a complete eco friendly hospital with the fact that even all materials right from the construction material to the plastic used in the hospital are eco-friendly. Another specialty is that every room in the hospital has been designed in such a way that it will allow natural light to come into the room leaving no need for artificial power. Also, the lights that are arranged have got automatic on and off power as they are fitted with human sensor technology so when there is no one around, the lights automatically get switched off. The other highlight is that when many people are in the same room, the Sensors will check the Carbondioxide levels and pump fresh air accordingly.
The prime reason for going towards such a concept was preservation of environment and save nature from damage. On the other hand, this ‘high cost cutting’ ensures that not much cost is incurred by the patients as compared to the regular corporate hospitals.
