If political sources are to be believed, it is being rumoured that ex minister and YSRCP senior leader Balineni Srinivasa Reddy has gone into depression and that he required medical help to sort out the problem.
Incidentally, an English newspaper carried an intriguing story about the same.
According to the news item, Balineni slipped into depression following his defeat during the recent elections.
While losing was one reason, it is said that banking on the hope that his party would win, he had spent crores of rupees before the elections by betting heavily. So, now he has lost both power and money.
Though certain party leaders make huge amounts of money due to betting, the other leaders lose heavily if the outcome does not favour them. This time, it was the turn of YSRCP leaders to bear the brunt of betting on the wrong option.
In the past, some TDP leaders had to face a similar situation. Coming to Balineni Srinivasa Reddy, it is being said that he is currently spending most of his time in Hyderabad. But he is staying away from party affairs.
It is also being rumoured that he has also developed differences with his brother-in-law YV Subbareddy, making matters worse for him.
