Ignoring the directives given by Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, the ministers, MLAs, MPs of ruling TRS continue to make statements on creation of new districts.
Though the CM categorically stated that the government has just constituted a committee headed by Chief Secretary to finalise the names and number of new districts, the ruling party leaders are creating confusion among public by announcing the names of their constituencies as new districts.
Insiders say, the ‘real estate mafia’ is behind this and are forcing TRS leaders to make statements with a view that this would jack up realty prices in probable new districts out of which they can mint money and offered to share some of the profits with TRS leaders.
Leave other TRS leaders alone, Nizamabad MP and KCR’s daughter K Kavitha made an announcement recently saying that Kamareddy would be made a district and CM is very keen on it.
This shocked other TRS leaders who could not digest CM’s own daughter ignoring the CM’s directives on new districts. They too started making similar statements on their constituencies being made new districts.
