YSRCP has been maintaining that it is not against Vijayawada being finalized as the capital city. The same has been reiterated by its MLA Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy.
He however maintained that his party wanted a proper discussion before any decision is made.
He also clarified that his party was more concerned in understanding if Vijayawada would be ideal as the capital city due to its location or if it is just a ploy to benefit the realty sector in the area.
Bhaskar Reddy continued by saying that Babu was a true politician in the past. But now, he was behaving more like a corporate man as he was a puppet in the hands of corporate leaders.
Bhaskar Reddy also alleged that Babu also went to the extent of appointing a capital committee comprising corporate people to appease his supporters.
On the other hand, deputy floor leader Jyothula Nehru said that his party would abide by the decision once it is made after thorough discussion.
He also accused Yenamala Ramakrishnudu of his back-door entry into the cabinet and said that he has no moral right to take on Jagan.
Responding to his comments, Yenamala lashed out saying that YSRCP MLAs and their Jagan must follow the guidelines of the House to be treated with respect.
Meanwhile, Speaker Kodela reminded YSRCP members that it was not correct to make inappropriate comments about the Speaker.
