Sitting MLC and a professor in Mass Communications at Osmania University, Mr Nageshwar has come out with serious allegations against Chandrababu Naidu.
He questioned as to why Ramoji and Chandrababu were silent against the Reliance Group which had embezzled Rs 4 lakh crore as per the CAG report.
Prof Nageshwar said that it was Naidu who got the KG basin allotted to the Reliance Group during his tenure and in return, Reliance invested Rs 2700 crore in the Ramoji group through seven fraudulent companies set up for this purpose.
Ramoji was then struggling with losses of Rs 1800 crore as per Ramoji’s IT returns filed then. Chandrababu also got his persons nominated to all the key positions in the judiciary in the State, he alleged.
It is for this reason says Prof Nageshwar, that Eenadu or TDP never speaks out against Reliance.
The ball is now in Naidu’s court. The onus is on him to respond to these serious allegations.
