Mudragada Gives New Twist To His Demand!

Apparently realising that his movement for Kapu reservations is getting fizzled out, thanks to the divide-and-rule policy of the Chandrababu Naidu government, former minister Mudragada Padmanabham has given a new twist to his demand.

Following reports that the Justice Manjunatha Commission is likely to recommend the inclusion of Kapus into the BCs, Mudragada held a meeting with representatives of various BC leaders at his Kirlampudi residence in East Godavari district on Friday and came out with a new demand.

He said the Kapus do not want to get included in the BC list and share the existing quota of reservations available for them.

“It looks like the Naidu government is trying to include Kapu reservations in the already existing BC quota. He appears to be creating a conflict between Kapus and other BCs. We don’t want share the existing quota. We want a separate quota for Kapus, apart from the existing BC quota and want to be treated independently,” Mudragada said.

He said the Kapus would continue their agitation till they get separate quota. “We will not allow Naidu to create rifts among the BCs,” he asserted.
