Kodandaram unfit even for sarpanch post!

All these days, Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao had been maintaining strategic silence on Telangana Joint Action Committee president Prof M Kodandaram.

Though he had instigated the other TRS leaders to run down Kodandaram, KCR did not personally made any comment against him.

Only in the previous press conference, the chief minister raised his name asking: “Kodanda, who? I don’t have to respond to the people who have no address or stature (taadoo, bondaram leni vallu).”

But on Friday, KCR went hammer and tongs against Kodandaram for giving a call to the Singareni coal mine workers to defeat the TRS-led Telangana Boggu Gani Karmika Sangham (TBGKS) in the trade union elections. The TRS-affiliated union won the elections hands down.

“How can that man say that the Singareni coal mines would be destroyed if our union wins? Has he ever won even a sarpanch post? Who is he to give a call to the workers not to vote for the TRS? Is he a Mahatma Gandhi?” KCR asked.

Stating that Kodandaram was thinking too high of himself, the chief minister said not even 500 people would come to the meetings of the TJAC chairman.

“Where was Kodandaram when I launched the TRS in 2001? It was I who had formed the TJAC and made him the chairman. Only the TRS was responsible for the formation of Telangana. People know very well as to who had done what for Telangana,” the TRS chief said.
