Chandra Babu tabled his budget, now it’s time for KCR’s budget. Since both the CMs are on one-upmanship spree, it is being rumoured in political circles that KCR’s budget will be more than Babu’s.
Where Andhra Pradesh has 13 districts, Telangana has 10 districts. AP also has more population than Telangana. In reality, Telangana budget should be less than AP’s budget.
However, since Telangana earns a lot of revenue from Hyderabad and since it has excess funds, Telangana budget is likely to be more than Babu’s budget, it is being said.
Meanwhile, financial analysts feel that such a budget is not appropriate for Telangana.
On the other hand, if KCR takes Babu as a benchmark, then the budget will surely be more than that of AP. However, if KCR decides to do the right thing, then Telangana state’s budged would be less than that of AP.
Since the budget sessions of Telangana will take place next month, there is bound to be talk in political circles regarding as to ‘who will present a bigger budget’.
