KCR In Warangal Meet, KCR-Naidu bond in question

KCR In Warangal Meet, KCR-Naidu bond in question

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao will be campaigning for his party TRS in Warangal for Warangal bypoll, by addressing a massive public meeting in Hanumakonda today.

On a normal day, CMs taking up the campaigning for bypolls is a rare phenomenon. However, considering the stakes involved and with the party keen on retaining the seat, KCR doesn't want to take any chances as Congress, BJP and even leaders from New Delhi have taken up hectic campaigning there.

Last year, KCR took part in campaigning for Medak Lok Sabha bypoll, after he resigned for Medak assembly seat. Incidentally, he won both the seats in 2014.

However, given the new camradarie with AP CM Chandra Babu Naidu, many are keen on seeing how he will talk about TDP or Babu during the meeting at Hanumakonda. Because, if he does not criticise Babu, it would clearly establish reports of friendship between both the CMs.

Also, since Babu avoided campaigning for TDP-BJP candidate in Warangal to avoid criticising KCR, some Telangana leaders will be closely watching how KCR will handle Babu, as criticism would strain the good relations that were established recently between them.
