Jagan Wants Mudragada Stir To Pull Down Naidu

YSR Congress party MLA Bhumana Karunakar Reddy, who got involved in criminal cases in connection with the Tuni violence that took place in January last during the agitation for Kapu reservations by former minister Mudragada Padmanabham, is not scared with the police cases.

The YSR Congress party has once again deputed Bhumana to extend all possible assistance to Mudragada to revive the agitation for Kapu reservations.

On Friday, he met the Kapu strongman at the latter’s residence in Kirlampudi of East Godavari district and extended support to the proposed agitation seeking Kapu reservation.

It may be recalled that Mudragada Padmanabham has announced his action programme from next month demanding inclusion of the Kapu community in the BC list.

Bhumana told Mudragada that the agitation for Kapu reservations should be made broad-based, instead of confining itself to reservations.

“It should go on till the Chandrababu Naidu government is pulled down in the state,” he said and appealed that all sections of the society must unite and protest the anti-people policies of the Chief Minister.

He said all those duped by Chandrababu Naidu with his false promises of welfare and development must unite and revolt against the TDP administration.

Bhumana reminded that on January 19, 2016, too, he expressed solidarity with the Kapu agitation.

“However, I was labelled anti-social and a rebellion by Chandrababu and he foisted false cases against me,” he added.

If false cases are foisted against Mudragada and sent to jail through baseless allegations, Karunakar Reddy warned that he will not hesitate to become a camp follower of Mudragada and join his agitation for the rights of Kapus.
