TDP is fast losing its base in Telangana. In fact, it is almost on the verge of being wiped out. KCR’s threat that he would make sure that there would be a to-let board in front of the TDP office in no time is likely to come true.
And if that happens, the situation might totally change in the coming years.
Right now, Chandra Babu Naidu is regretting having signed for a separate Telangana. He has now understood the practical problems of trying to move ahead with his feet on two boats.
It is being widely said that Babu’s greed to rule two states has resulted in this plight for Telugu people.
And as far as Andhra is concerned, its development will take another 20 years. So, Babu will have to move the film industry to Andhra in the coming years.
If his party loses its base in Telangana, the film industry which is dominated by people from his community will have no standing in Telangana. Also, Babu will not want the Telangana government to get all the tax money from the industry.
On the other hand, the Telangana people are keen that their heroes and technicians must come up in films here. Already, it is being said that the collections of big heroes have reduced drastically in Telangana.
Now, many feel it is a matter of time before the industry shifts base to Andhra.
