An exasperated Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and his team members are fretting and fuming at the injustice meted out to AP in the Union budget. Apparently, some emotional elements in the Naidu cabinet even suggested that the TDP should come out of the NDA in protest.
However, Naidu does not seem to have got the guts to do so. He knows that the TDP had come to power only with the support of the BJP and if he comes out of the NDA, it amounts to open confrontation with the Modi government. And Naidu will have a tough time both politically and administratively in the coming days.
The TDP chief is apprehensive that if the TDP pulls out of the NDA, the BJP might embrace YSR Congress party with open arms and that would be detrimental to the TDP.
That is why, Naidu preferred to remain silent. Instead, he is trying to take the help of Pawan Kalyan and Venkaiah Naidu to sort out the issues and give an impression to the public that Modi government is ready to help out AP in the coming months.
