Anam Brothers To Join TDP, Narayana Objects!

The Congress party which already lost its identity in Andhra Pradesh after bifurcation of state, received yet another jolt on Thursday.

Senior Congress leaders from Nellore district, Anam Ramanarayan Reddy and Anam Vivekanand Reddy have decided to quit Congress and join TDP soon.

Anam brothers, as they are popularly known, said they received an invitation from TDP high command to join the party.

They said they will join TDP in 2-3 days after taking views of their followers.

However, municipal minister and Narayana Group of Educational Institutions owner P.Narayana is said to be objecting the entry of Anam brothers into TDP.

Narayana, who is close to TDP chief and AP CM N.Chandrababu Naidu, also hails from Nellore and fears the Anam brothers entry may create political problems for him in Nellore district.

Anam Ramnarayan Reddy, worked as minister in Congress governments and held important finance minister post in Rosaiah and Kiran Kumar Reddy governments.

Anam brothers said Congress had no future in AP and they have decided to quit the party and join TDP as sought by farmers and their followers in Nellore.

In fact both brothers, were earlier with TDP, but joined Congress later.
