'World Telugu Conference Invitation to NRIs'

Hyderbad: Telangana State Government organizing five days “World Telugu Conference” (Prapancha Telugu Mahasabhalu) from Dec 15 to Dec 19 at Hyderabad.

This is the first conference organized under the leadership of Honorable Chief Minister Sri. K. Chandrashekar Rao garu after the Telangana state is formed. Last week Smt. K. Kavitha, Member of Parliament opened the World Telugu Conference (WTC) office to speed up the arrangements of the conference.

The World Telugu Conference is organized by the Telangana Sahitya Academy, Nandini Siddareddy, Chairman of Telangana Sahitya Academy and core committee are vigorously working to make the conference an historical event.

Mahesh Bigala, WTC - NRI Coordinator travelling to UK, USA, Canada and Austria to meet and invite all NRIs and community groups to participate in the prestigious Telugu conference and make it a grand success.

The preparatory meetings (Sannahaka Sadassulu) are arranged in UK, USA, Canada, and Austria are as follows:

Nov 14 - London(UK)
Nov 15 - Atlanta (USA)
Nov 17 - Toronto (Canada)
Nov 18 - San Francisco/Dallas (USA)
Nov 19 - New Jersey (USA)
Nov 23 - Vienna (Austria)

Deshapathi Srinivas, Core Committee Member travelling to Australia and planning to organize Sannahaka Sadassulu as follows:

Nov 25 - Melbourne (Australia)
Nov 26 - Sydney (Australia)

Rasamai Balakishan, MLA and Chairman of Cultural Department of Telangana travelling to Dubai and South Africa from Nov 17 to Nov 20.

SV Satyanarayana, Vice Chancellor of Telugu University travelling to Singapore and Malaysia from Nov 24 to Nov 26.

Many other events organized by local teams in New Zealand on Nov 19 and in Denmark on Nov 26.

All eminent writers of Telugu and other languages, who won Sahitya Academy and Jnana Peeth Awards, would be invited.  President Ram Nath Kovind, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu would be invited as Chief Guests for the programme.

The conference would be held in LB Stadium as the main venue. Ravindra Bharathi, Indira Priyadarshini Auditorium, Lalitha kala Thoranam, Nizam College Grounds, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Pingle Venkatram Reddy Hall, Shilpa Kala Vedika will host the other programmes. Literary events will be held during the day and cultural programmes will be held in the evening.

Dance by Gonds, Kolatam, Perini performances, songs like Kalupu, Naatu and Bathukamma, entertainment programmes will be the part of the cultural programmes.

The relationship between Tanishah and Ramadasu, Ramadasu Padakeerthanalu, Thandanana Ramayanam, Saradakars, Harikatha recital will also be performed.

Arrangements would be made for recitation of poems, film light music programmes Cine Vibhavari. The folk songs of the rural region will also be organized at the programmes.
