TDP MLA from Sathupalli Sandra Venkata Veeraiah, who is one of the two TDP MLAs who won recent Telangana Assembly polls from Khammam district is all set to join TRS.
TDP president and AP CM N.Chandrababu Naidu on Friday issued orders sacking Sandra from the post of TTD member.
Naidu re-appointed Sandra as TTD members on December 29, 2018. As per norms, any one appointed to this post should take charge within a month.
But Sandra did not assume charge even after more than one-and-a-half month.
This triggered speculations that Sandra has decided to quit TDP and join TRS.
Sensing this, Naidu removed him from TTD member post all of a sudden lending credence to these speculations.
Sandra is likely to be taken into the cabinet by KCR on February 19 during cabinet expansion.
After Tummala Nageshwar Rao from Khammam district lost elections recently, KCR is left with no option but to take Sandra into cabinet in Tummala's place to strengthen TRS in Khammam before Lok Sabha polls.
