Hyderabad MLA takes on Pakistan army!

Firebrand Bharatiya Janata Party MLA from Goshamahal constituency in Hyderabad T Raja Singh on Monday virtually took on Pakistan army by rejecting the latter’s allegation that he had copied their tune for his latest song on India.

Raja Singh launched a twitter war against chief spokesperson of Pakistan Armed Forces Major General Asif Gaffoor, stating that it was Pakistan which had in fact copied two of his patriotic songs in the past and used the tune for their songs.

The twitter war began with the BJP MLA, two days ago, releasing the promo of his patriotic song “Hindustan Zindabad” which was officially released on Sunday on the occasion of Sri Ram Navami Shobha Yatra. Raja Singh claimed that the song was dedicated to the Indian Army.

However, Major General Asif Ghaffoor, director general of Pakistan’s Inter-Services Public Relations, reacted strongly to Raja Singh’s song on twitter. He tweeted that the MLA had copied the song of Pakistan army.

It said: “Glad that you copied. But copy to speak the truth as well. #PakistanZindabad.”

He also claimed that the song was released on March 23 for Pakistan Day and that it was penned by Sahir Ali Bagga.

But, the MLA gave a strong reply to Pakistan Army’s spokesperson. He said it was news to him that Pakistan which was known to produce terrorists could also producer singers.

“Good to see even Pakistan media is covering my song #Hindustan Zindabad. #Pakistani singers may have copied my song, we don't have to copy anything from a terrorist state like Pakistan,” Singh tweeted.

“I have been releasing patriotic songs on Sri Rama Navami day since 2010 and there was no need for me to copy a Pakistani song. I don’t even listen to such songs,” he said.
