All these days it was argued that TRS chief and Telangana CM KCR had deliberately sidelined his nephew T Harish Rao in TRS and also in the state government, to pave way for the smooth succession of his son KTR.
But Harish was reinducted into KCR's cabinet recently along with KTR. Harish was given an all important portfolio of finance.
Now, Harish was accorded even more importance by KCR in the government.
The Telangana government issued orders on Wednesday allocating the crucial portfolios held by CM KCR for the ongoing Budget session of Assembly and Council.
The government allocated irrigation, GAD and law and order portfolios to Harish, being held by KCR.
Harish will answer all the queries raised by members in Assembly and Council on these issues on behalf of CM.
This would mean that Harish had now become next only to CM KCR.
Though other minister KTR, Vemula Prashanth Reddy and Talasani Srinivas Yadav were also given few more portfolios held by CM, they are insignificant when compared with Harish.
Looks like, Harish is shining in TRS government now after going through tough phase for nine months since December 2018, when KCR assumed office as CM for second term.
