Naidu Is The Real Economic Terrorist!

YSR Congress party on Sunday described Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu as an economic terrorist who had been using his henchmen to plunder the common man’s money from the banks to butcher democratic institutions.

Reacting to the raids of Enforcement Directorate on the offices of TDP Rajya Sabha member Y S Chowdary alias Sujana Chowdary, YSRC spokesman and former MP C Ramachandraiah alleged that Naidu had been the kingpin of the ring of economic offenders and was a violator of all economic and democratic norms in the country.

“Sujana Chowdary is only one of the many front-men who has been financing all the shady deals of the TDP chief. He was a known economic offender, who was patronised by Naidu for his political gains to butcher democracy, override constitutional norms,” he said and demanded that the MP should be immediately sacked from Rajya Sabha.

Ramachandriah said during 2009 and 2014 elections, Sujana Chowdary had been the main financier and was nominated to the Upper House despite pending cases of economic offences against him.

“Naidu had insisted that he should be taken into the cabinet, despite reservations from the Centre, and told his cadre that the industrialist should be given a chance as he is the economic backbone of the party,” he said.

He pointed out that Sujana Chowdary had plundered over Rs 6,800 from the banks, the amount saved by common people, and had diverted the money through shell companies for personal gains.

“The ill-gotten wealth was used to belittle democratic institutes and violate democratic norms by buying MLAs from Opposition Party, funding of elections with blatant display of money power and the like,” he alleged.

Though the economic offences of Sujana Chowdhary came to light in 2016 itself, Naidu, through his sources in high places had managed to stall the process of raids.

“Had the investigation taken place earlier, at least some of the people’s money could have been saved. The corrupt bank officials, who gave loans despite the negative net worth, against the norms should also be punished,” he demanded.
