The Telangana leaders of the Telugu Desam Party are not able to digest the fact that the party is going to get routed in the region in the next elections, as the entire credit for the statehood will go to the Congress and the Telangana Rashtra Samithi.
TDP senior leader Errabelli Dayakar Rao on Friday said no party could take credit for Telangana state; it became a reality due to the sacrifices made by the Telangana students.
He demanded that the Telangana bill should be moved in the Parliament without much delay.
Another TDP leader Mothukupalli Narasimhulu demanded that the government should extend financial help to the families of those persons who had sacrificed their lives for the cause of Telangana state.
He said the centre should render justice to both the regions, and extend help for the development of new state.
