Lokesh is not ordinary, but poisonous pappu!

Actress-turned-anchor and firebrand YSR Congress party MLA from Nagari R K Roja, who has been keeping away from media limelight for quite some time, is back with her pungent comments against Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu and his son Nara Lokesh.

On Thursday, Roja came down heavily on Lokesh for making tall claims on industrialization in the state.

“He has once again proved himself a big pappu. Not just ordinary pappu with vitamins, but a poisonous pappu like Ganneru Pappu. What else can we call him, when he is trying to claim credit for industries which came to AP with the support of the Centre?” she asked.

Referring to the MoU signed with popular electronics company Flextronics for setting up a manufacturing unit at Sri City, Roja said the state government had nothing do with the company, as it was being set up at the instance of the Centre.

“The tall claims of a Lokesh about the investments has been totally false and data is highly inflated. His IQ levels are always much below average. While he claims that the inflow has been Rs 20 lakh crores, the actual figures show that the investments were just Rs 16,900 crores and the yawning gap was only the invention of the TDP government,” she pointed out.

Stating that the Chandrababu Naidu government has been spending sleepless nights on seeing the tremendous success of Praja Sankalpa Yatra of YSRC president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, she said the ruling party had been trying in vain to divert public attention by doling out false data and levelling baseless allegations.

On TDP MP C M Ramesh’s indefinite fast, Roja said it was ridiculous on his party to fast for the Kadapa steel plant, as this demand had never been raised by the ruling party earlier while YSR Congress has constantly kept the demand firm along with Special Category Status (SCS) and other issues included in the State Reorganisation Bill.

“It was TDP which tried to put spokes in the Kadapa steel plant issue when Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy mooted the idea first and now they are singing a different tune,” she said.
