Even as the AP government headed by N Chandrababu Naidu remained silent on the reclamation of land allotted to the AP NGOs by the Telangana government, YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy has come forward to fight on their behalf.
Condemning the action of Telangana government in taking back allotted land to APNGOs, the YSRC party demanded that Telangana government return 189 acres of land to APNGOs immediately.
Jagan, who came in support of APNGOs, said that its members had spent crores of rupees for development of roads, electricity and for other basic facilities. If Telangana government wanted to allot the lands, it should look for an alternative land.
He demanded that Andhra Pradesh government should intervene and protect the interest of APNGOs.
