In many instances, the freedom fighters are remembered or their pictures posted on social networking sites but nothing practical is done to remember them.
However, one initiative is now underway for ‘Mannem Veerudu’ Alluri Seetaramaraju. News is that his house is going to be rebuild once again.
The date for this is November 27th and it is being organized by Sri Alluri Seetaramaraju Smaraka Samstha. Noted spiritualist Paripoorananda Swamy is going to lay the foundation stone for this.
The rebuilding project is the brainchild of the advisory board comprising of Dr Ghazal Srinivas, K V L N Raju, D S R Raju, Janakirama Raju, Bhupathiraju Sathyanarayanaraju.
This is going to take place at Alluri Seetaramaju’s native place and some of the noted personalities from political and industrial background are going to grace the event. This is indeed a great initiative for a freedom fighter.
Let us wish many more of such initiatives come in the future for all the Telugu stalwarts of independence.
