
Reliance Industries’ Anant and Akash Ambani have emerged as the richest individuals in India with a combined net worth of ₹3.59 lakh crore, according to the 360 ONE Wealth Creators List 2025.
Among women, Isha Ambani is ranked the richest businesswoman with ₹3.58 lakh crore, placing her third overall.
The list, compiled by 360 ONE Wealth in partnership with CRISIL, features 2,013 individuals with a minimum net worth of ₹500 crore. Their combined wealth totals ₹100 lakh crore — roughly a third of India’s GDP — with a median net worth of ₹1,423 crore.
Following the Ambanis are Adani Group members Vinodbhai, Gautambhai, and Rajesh Adani, with assets worth ₹2.72 lakh crore, ₹2.48 lakh crore, and ₹2.16 lakh crore, respectively.
The report reveals a rising wave of young Indian wealth creators, with 143 individuals under the age of 40. BharaPe co-founder Shashvat Nakrani, 27, is the youngest on the list.
Promoters from Reliance, Adani, and Tata Group account for nearly 24% of the total promoter wealth, estimated at ₹36 lakh crore.
The country’s top 50 business houses represent 59% of the total wealth on the list, with Reliance and Adani Enterprises alone holding 12%.
The list features 72 women founders and leaders actively contributing to business growth.
Digital disruptors dominate among first-generation billionaires under 40, with 46% of them creating wealth through online platforms.
About 60% of this wealth stems from sectors like fintech, e-commerce, edtech, and investment platforms such as Zerodha, Upstox, Swiggy, and PhysicsWallah.
In terms of industries, pharma, IT, and financial services lead wealth creation, jointly contributing 26% of the total.
Pharma tops the list with 174 billionaires, followed by financial services (158) and IT (134). Banking, telecom, and aviation generate the highest per capita wealth.
Geographically, Mumbai remains India’s financial hub, home to 577 of the nation’s wealthiest, controlling 40% of the total wealth. New Delhi and Bengaluru account for 17% and 8%, respectively, while Ahmedabad holds 5%.
