YSR Congress Party official spokesperson Vasireddy Padma on Saturday found fault with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu for issuing some 700 GOs secretly in the name of confidentiality after he assumed office in June 2014.
Demanding a white paper on the issuance of 700-odd “classified” GOs, Padma wondered whether these GOs were declared classified only to cover up the shady land dealings of Naidu. The TDP has been showing nepotism in allotting large extent of land to a favoured few.
She said there were reports that land worth Rs 300 crore is allotted at Jaggayyapet in Krishna district to a close relative of Hindupur MLA Bala Krishna at a throw-away price and in Tirupati, former minister Galla Aruna Kumari’s family has been a beneficiary of Rs 50 crore worth of land while Rs 360 crore worth of land was being given to a friend of Chandrababu Naidu’s son at Visakhapatnam for lease at nominal price," she alleged.
Padma demanded that Chandrababu explain what he did for the welfare of the people of the Rayalaseema region.
