Well, if the word spread, it may not be long before Prime Minister Modi will take special care to make sure that Chandra Babu’s influence is restricted to Andhra Pradesh alone.
He is bound to make perfect plans to make sure that Babu is busy with Andhra Pradesh and has no time for national politics.
He might cajole him or scare him, either ways; Modi will make sure that Babu gives up his hopes on prime minister’s chair. So, it would be best if the BJP leaders gave the news to Modi ASAP.
Okay, let’s start from the beginning. AP Minister Bojjala Gopalakrishna Reddy has expressed his opinion that Chandra Babu is an ideal prime ministerial candidate.
Bojjala says Babu has all the qualities required in a prime minster. Bojjala’s argument is that Babu is striving to make Andhra Pradesh financially secure and his efforts and strategy prove that he is capable of heading the nation.
Usually, political leaders make such statements when their political future becomes a question and they can go to any lengths to retain their position. So, he hailed Babu as the best PM candidate and went on to say that his government has settled the issue of loan waivers.
He said that 97 per cent of the loans were cleared and YSRCP was creating a scene by highlighting the plight of the remaining 3 per cent who are not eligible for loan waivers.
The amount set aside during the budget session is Rs 5 crores. How can the government clear loans of 97 per cent of farmers and DWACRA women with that amount? Isn’t it taking us for a royal ride?
As for Babu becoming the PM, the TDP is already claiming that it will acquire the status of a national party by next elections.
Well, let’s wait and watch if Chandra Babu will make it as the next prime minister of India!
