Union Minister of State for Consumer Affairs and Food, Rao Saheb Danve might become the first person to be shunted out of Modi's cabinet.
Reportedly, Modi is unhappy with Danve’s performance as a Minister. However, Danve himself is not too pleased about working under Modi either.
“I feel like I am attending school. Here everything is punctual. I come to office early morning and leave late in the evening. Yet, I am always under pressure about the next day’s work,” said Danve at a function in his hometown.
Modi had wanted to remove Danve earlier itself, however he did not do so as it would bring a bad name to his administration. Hence an honorable exit route has been designed for Danve.
With Maharashtra BJP President, Devendra Fadnavis taking over as the CM, Danve is now going to be appointed BJP President of Maharashtra.
One wonders how the other Union Ministers are coping with the pressure. Perhaps this is the reason why Ashok Gajapathi Raju is frequently losing his temper nowadays. He is taking out his frustration on others.
