Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is known for his superstitions and strong beliefs in Hindu rituals.
So, the best way to please him is to follow his route of conducting rituals and performing pujas on his behalf for the well-being of his family and the party.
This is what exactly the Telangana Rashtra Samithi MP from Malkajgiri and educationist Ch Malla Reddy has done.
Though the elections to Lok Sabha still far away, Malla Reddy seems to have got the doubt that he might not get the MP ticket again from his constituency.
There is also a talk that he might be fielded from Medchal assembly constituency. So, he started adopting the techniques to get into the good books to of KCR right from now.
On Friday, Malla Reddy performed “Nava Chandi Homam” at the new party office Medchal, to pray for the victory of the TRS in the coming elections and return of KCR as the Chief Minister for a second time.
Vedic pandits Gopikrishna Sharma and Phani Shashank Sharma presided over the proceedings.
Malla Reddy expressed hope that with the divine blessings, the TRS would emerge victorious from more than 100 Assembly constituencies in the Assembly elections scheduled be held on December 7.
He said Medchal Assembly constituency was largest in the State and was secured by TRS in 2014 elections.
“We will repeat the results with a much better margin in the coming elections” he added.
The MP said KCR was a people-oriented chief minister and was working hard to ensure welfare of all sections in the State.
“The Homam was held to seek divine blessings of Goddess Durga,” he said.
