Roja To Follow Jagan's Footsteps!

Roja To Follow Jagan's Footsteps!

Undertaking padayatra appears to be the latest strategy of the political leaders to walk into the hearts of the people.

While former chief minister Y S Rajasekhar Reddy and present chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu achieved success by taking up padayatra.

Now, YSR’s son Y S Jaganmohan Reddy has embarked on a marathon 3,000 km padayatra for six months to bring his YSR Congress party into power in the next elections.

Already, he has covered over 250 km in the last 17 days and has been getting overwhelming response.

Now, Jagan’s most trusted lieutenant and YSRC MLA from Nagari R K Roja, too, wants to follow her leader’s footsteps.

She announced that she would take out a padayatra from her constituency to Tirumala hills, covering a total distance of 88 km.

Starting on November 28, Roja intends to cover the distance in a span of four days.

While the primary intention of Roja’s padayatra is to supplement Jagan’s efforts to become the chief minister, she says her objective is to highlight the Chandrababu Naidu government’s indifferent attitude towards completion of the Galeru-Nagari project at the earliest.

She alleged that Naidu government had totally neglected the project, which was taken up during the YSR regime.

Obviously, Roja has realised that she was lagging behind in her constituency and her image was going down. So, she has to do something to salvage her prestige and get back the glory.
