Raju Fearing Arrest In Different Cases?

Rebel YSR Congress party MP from Narasapuram K Raghurama Krishnam Raju, who got conditional bail from the Supreme Court in connection with the sedition case filed against him by the Andhra Pradesh Crime Investigation Department police, does not want to come out of the Military Hospital, Secunderabad yet.

He has written a letter to the hospital authorities requesting that he be allowed to continue in the hospital for some more days as he was yet to recover from the illness.

Raju reportedly complained that he was still feeling a lot pain in his legs and that his blood pressure levels, too, had shot up.

“I am feeling giddy and restless. Keeping in view my precarious health condition, I may please be allowed to stay put in the hospital for a few more days,” he said.

The MP said he would bear the hospital expenses for his entire period of stay. He is presently undergoing treatment under the supervision of Dr Sen Gupta and Dr Phillip.

The army commandant reportedly gave permission to Raju for continuing to stay in the hospital for three more days.

Apparently, Raju got the hint from his friends that soon after he gets discharged from hospital, the Andhra police might arrest him immediately in connection with other cases filed against him.

Since the bail granted by Supreme Court was only in connection with the sedition case, nothing prevents the police to arrest him in another case.

At least half a dozen petitions are pending against him. So, the police can arrest him in a different case.

If that happens, Raju will have to move the high court and Supreme Court again and again to get the bail. Yet, the Jagan government will not leave him and allow him to have a peaceful sleep.
