Platform Fellows Can't Make Film On Me: LP

YSR Congress party leader and former chief minister N T Rama Rao’ widow Nandamuri Lakshmi Parvathi has taken strong objection to some unscrupulous elements trying to malign her image on the pretext of making a film on her past life.

She was referring to the attempts of film maker Kethireddy Jagadeeshwar Reddy to shoot the Muhurtham shot at NTR Gardens a couple of days ago.

“What are their credentials to make a film on me? One fellow does not have any address and dwells on railway platforms and another is caught in deep debts. Do they have guts to make film on me?

I strongly believe there is some invisible force behind these fellows who are enacting dramas in the name of film making. I will soon expose that force very soon,” LP said.

She said once a woman was married, even her own father had no right on her.

“It is totally unfair and illegal to associate my name with that of a person whom I had divorced more than 25 years ago. I will not allow the film to be made at any cost,” she said, adding that she was a fighter and people were with her in her struggle.

Meanwhile, Kethireddy complained to the Director General of Police and City police commissioner that he was getting threatening calls from unknown persons.

“I have started making the film and will complete it by January. I have every right to make a film on all the issues concerned with late NTR. Who is Lakshmi Parvathi to stop me?” he asked.
