Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee's chief spokesperson Dr Shravan Kumar on Monday expressed happiness over his party's victory in municipal elections in Telangana region.
Speaking to media persons at Gandhi Bhavan here, Shravan Kumar said that the results were a proof that people have preferred poor and honest candidates over rich and inactive candidates fielded by TRS President K Chandrasekhar Rao.
He said KCR did not gave importance to the honest workers and was now facing the consequences
He assured that the Congress party would work hard to fulfill the aspirations of people of Telangana.
He said that the Congress would fulfill all the promises made by AICC President Sonia Gandhi for the development of Telangana.
