NTR's Widow Plans To Upset TDP In 2019!

NTR's Widow Plans To Upset TDP In 2019!

Even as the ruling Telugu Desam Party in Andhra Pradesh is planning to capitalise on the forthcoming serial films on party founder and legendary actor N T Rama Rao, featuring his son and party MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna, the YSR Congress party is planning to rope in NTR’s widow Nandamuri Lakshmi Parvathi to counter the TDP strategy.

Lakshmi Parvathi, who attended the Muhurtham shooting of ace director Ram Gopal Varma’s film “Lakshmi’s NTR” at Tirupati, told media that she would extensively campaign for the YSR Congress party and its president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy in the coming assembly elections.

“I am not going to contest the upcoming assembly elections in Andhra. But I will campaign for the party and see that Jagan will become the next chief minister of the state,” she said, setting aside the speculations that YSRC would field her from one of the constituencies in Krishna or Guntur districts.

One doesn’t know with how much seriousness Ram Gopal Varma will make the film on NTR with focus on Lakshmi Parvathi, but YSRC leader and producer Rakesh Reddy, who is likely to contest the assembly elections from Palamaneru constituency in Chittoor district, is keen that the film is completed before January so as to release it simultaneously with Balakrishna’s film.

Since the second part of Balaiah’s film NTR Maha Nayakudu is going to depict the former chief minister’s political career, it is likely to glorify the role of TDP president and present chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu and show Lakshmi Parvathi as the villain. The RGV’s film will be a counter to this attempt.

Simultaneously, Lakshmi Parvathi is planning to tour extensively all over Andhra and expose the hollowness of Balaiah’s film and present a factual picture of her life spent with NTR.

“Definitely, her campaign will make a difference and upset the TDP calculations,” feels a YSRC follower.
