Nizam Was More Democratic Than KCR!

Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhar Rao is the most autocratic chief minister in the country and he would not tolerate people questioning him at all.

This was the opinion expressed by Chevella MP Konda Vishweshwar Reddy, who recently resigned from the TRS and joined the Congress party.

“Even Nizam was more democratic in his governance, compared to KCR. Nobody is permitted to speak before him and everybody should agree what he says and does,” he alleged.

He pointed out how KCR had shouted down a Muslim youth who questioned him on 12 per cent reservation at a public meeting a couple of days ago.

“That is the kind of intolerance KCR has towards people who raise a voice against him. I tried to speak to him about the growing disgruntlement among the people towards the TRS government, but he had never given me such an opportunity,” Reddy said.

He said initial two years of the TRS rule were good, but after that things started getting bad.

“Telangana a rich state has turned pauper today. Where has all the money gone? Which section of the population was benefitted and why government employees’ salaries have not increased?” he asked.

Reddy alleged that KCR had invested the money in publicity.

“He has bought over some TV channel with our money, instead of spending it on creating jobs, mid-day meals, double bed rooms and undertaking other progressive measures,” he criticised.

He said the TRS probably had the best talent in boasting about their work, which no other party can lay claim to.

“They convey an impression that all the development work began with their coming to power and in the past 60 odd years there was no development. TRS has massive negative wave against it for non-performance and its candidates may even lose deposits in the forthcoming elections,” he predicted.
