YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy on Friday alleged that Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu has utter contempt towards the local talented youth and had obsession with the foreign companies.
Participating in the Engineers' Day function as part of the Praja Sankalpa Yatra, the Leader of Opposition said, ' Chandrababu Naidu has been so obsessed with anything foreign that he has given the contract of building the capital city to Singapore and Japanese companies ignoring local talent.
“Though the state has a huge talent pool, Chandrababu Naidu went to give contract to Singapore companies with very liberal terms and overlooking all standard norms. During the 4.5 years Chandrababu Naidu with his much touted Singapore companies could not even move a brick for a permanent building which shows the level of efficiency and experience,” he said.
Jagan reminded that in the neighbouring Karnataka state, Vidhan Soudha had been built in a short period and the assembly building was an architectural marvel.
“It was conceived, developed and built by Indian talent which is being appreciated by experts as well,” he said.
Stating that the development so far in the state has been a naught. Jagan said it was highly ridiculous on the part of Naidu to claim credit for various ongoing projects.
