Nagam To Follow Revanth Footsteps?

Nagam To Follow Revanth Footsteps?

The 'revolt' by Telangana Telugu Desam Party president A Revanth Reddy against the party leadership for surrendering to the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi in Telangna has given the much-needed fodder for the hungry media, which has been struggling to find some spicy stuff in the recent past.

Revanth’s attack on the Seemandhra TDP leaders and more specifically targeting Kamma groups trying to align with the TRS in Telangana led to the speculations that he is leading the Reddy group, which is getting consolidated against Velama-dominated TRS.

So, media started speculating as to who the other prominent Reddy leaders are, who would be following Revanth to join the Congress party.

The latest name doing rounds in the media circles since Friday morning is that of senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader and former TDP minister Nagam Janardhan Reddy.

For quite some, Nagam has been feeling inconvenient in the BJP as he is finding it difficult to remain subservient to junior leaders who are dominating the Telangana BJP.

Even when he tried to follow his own path in agitating against the TRS, he has not been getting the platform in the BJP.

With Revanth deciding to join the Congress and going aggressive against the TRS, the Reddy community is rallying behind him. So, Nagam, too, has smelt a chance to bounce back in the Telangana politics if he joins the Congress party.

Well, as of now, it is just a speculation but anything is possible in politics!
