Telangana TDP MLA from Kodangal A Revanth Reddy, who has been in the hot news for his reported plans to join the Congress party, on Friday made sensational allegations against Telangana IT minister K T Rama Rao, son of chief minister K Chandrasekahr Rao.
Speaking to media after the adjournment of the House, Revanth alleged that the government had got the House adjourned without taking up his question on the recent drug racket.
He said he had strong suspicion that KTR also consumed drugs and that he had a role in the drug mafia.
“Home Minister Nayini Narsimha Reddy has alleged that I regularly go to pubs and clubs. I am ready to give my blood, hair and nail samples for testing. Will KTR also do the same?” he asked.
Revanth pointed out that KTR’s brother-in-law Raj Pakala had arranged a musical nite in Hyderabad after he was denied permission in Goa and Mumbai because of his connections with drug peddlers.
The minister himself had participated in the programme and personally extended invitations under the supervision of the police. Even children below the age group of 15 years attended the musical function which was actually confined to youth of above 21 years of age, he pointed out.
The rebel TDP leader did not even spare his own party leaders. He alleged that even Andhra TDP minister like Paritala Sunitha and Telangana minister T Srinivasa Yadav owned several pubs in Hyderabad, with the support of KTR.
